MCINTOSH, James M. - of Montrose, age 91, died Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Hurley Medical Center in Flint. Private services are being held. Memorial contributions may be made to Boys Town Orphanage or a charity of your choice.

James was born March 14, 1926 in Mississippi to the late Eddie and Quaynah (Cannon) McIntosh. He graduated from Bendle High School in 1944. James attended University of Mississippi. He married Kitty Bailey in Mississippi. She preceded him in death October 1, 2011. James was enlisted in the United States Air Force and served from 1943 until 1946. He retired from Schenley Affiliates as a State Manager after 30 years. James was a member of the Masonic Lodge #428, American Legion, and ATO fraternity. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening, and running his apple orchard.

Surviving are: Children: James McIntosh, Maury McIntosh, Jonathan (Karen) McIntosh, and Aaron (Theresa) McIntosh; Grandchildren: Jonathan McIntosh, Natalie Wright, Cameron McIntosh, and Bailey McIntosh; Great grandson, Eli Williams, and sister, Jeanette (Gesa) Nemeth. He was also preceded in death by: Daughter, Kitty McIntosh; Brothers: Ray McIntosh, Duane McIntosh, and sister, Geraldine Duncan.
