Lachlan McIntosh Son of John McIntosh Mohr, who came to Georgia with Oglethorpe to protect the colony from the Spanish. When, as a teenager, he heard of Bonnie Prince Charlie's landing in Scotland in 1745, he and his brother William tried to stowaway aboard a ship back to Scotland to aid the Jacobites, but Oglethorpe intervened. Member of the Georgia legislature; slew the "rascal and lying scoundral" Gwinnett in a duel.
